Personalized ads or measurement may be enabled on your Roku device. If you check "Limit Ad Tracking":
• Roku will not personalize ads on your Roku device based on data tied to advertising identifiers associated with your Roku device. You will still see ads on your Roku device, but not personalized ads delivered by Roku. Roku will also tell channel providers you prefer that they not use advertising identifiers to personalize ads on your Roku device, but channel providers can choose whether to honor that preference.
• Ad measurement data and viewing data that your Roku device collects, using RIDA, from streaming channels on the Roku device (i.e., channels that you have downloaded or that were pre-installed on your Roku device to stream content over the Internet) will not be shared by Roku with measurement providers such as Nielsen and comScore. However, selecting “Limit Ad Tracking” may not stop the channel provider from passing data it collects through its own channel to measurement providers or other third parties. If “More Ways to Watch” is enabled on your Roku TV, selecting Limit Ad Tracking on your Roku TV will not prevent sharing of viewing data collected through “More Ways to Watch” and automatic content recognition (ACR) with measurement providers such as Nielsen and comScore.

Check the settings on your Roku TV for options regarding “More Ways to Watch” and the collection and sharing of ACR viewing data.

Device factory reset will remove this preference.
