These recommendations are based on the content that you watched. By opting-in to this service you grant Gracenote Inc. and ZEASN permission to collect and use the data for the purpose of providing you Personalized viewing recommendations. The information that Gracenote Inc. and ZEASN collects by you opting-in to this service is linked to your Device-ID. When you opt-out of personalized viewing recommendations, Gracenote Inc. and ZEASN may still make recommendations, but these recommendations will not be based on your viewing behavior.

We want you to enjoy the Smart TV Service. For this, we need to understand how you use your Smart TV. We can create this understanding when you share specific data from your Smart TV with us such as your APP click behavior, channel zap behavior and other interaction that you may have with your Smart TV, like time and date of a click. This is called analytical data.

In order to troubleshoot abnormal behavior on your Smart TV, it will also store data on hardware/software related failures and the interaction with your Smart TV from just before the failure occurred. Your Smart TV will send this information, in an anonymized manner, to our servers for the sole purpose of problem solving. This data shall be stored for a maximum of two years after collection.

Analytical data is sent (compressed) from your Smart TV to our servers via an encrypted Internet connection and consequently stored on a secure server. When we receive analytical data we immediately throw away the connected Device-ID. As a consequence it no longer can tell us anything about you, the data has been anonymized.

Selected third parties may use our advertising server to serve you advertisements on the Home Menu and in APPs. This server will count how many times advertisements have been displayed and clicked on your Smart TV. The functions of collecting this data are (i) to ensure that the same advertisement is not shown multiple times on your Smart TV; and (ii) to ensure that the advertisement is served in accordance with our agreement with the advertiser, e.g. to be able to show that he is getting what he paid for.

When you say no to Non-Functional Cookies advertisements will still be served on your Smart TV but you may be looking at the same advertisement twice or more often. Most probably that is not an issue for you.

Parental Control can automatically prevent access to apps that display adult content by protecting it with a four digit code of your choice. If you enable the Parental Control functionality by selecting the appropriate box on the Privacy Settings screen, you will be redirected to a screen in where you can insert the four digit code. If you do not select the appropriate box on the Privacy Settings screen, you will not be redirected and no Parental Control will be activated.
